What This School Does Well

WiEducate works with some of the most vulnerable young people in the area, meeting a considerable local need for specialist support. Staff are skilled at building trust through home visits and outreach, then helping students develop emotional regulation and confidence before progressing to vocational learning. The college has strong employer connections, meaning many students experience real workplace opportunities and move into positive destinations like employment or further study.

Flexible, personalised programmes designed around individual student needs with thorough home-based transition meetings
Effective use of creative strategies and mentoring to help students overcome barriers and build confidence and independence
Strong links with employers providing meaningful workplace experiences and supporting students into positive destinations

Too early to judge the impact of recently introduced progress tracking systems
