In its own words: "The school day runs from 8:45am to 3:15pm, amounting to 32.5 hrs per week. Breakfast Club runs from 7:30am and the gates are opened for all pupils from 8:30am. Registration is at 8:45am. Extra-Curricular Clubs run usually from 3:15pm to 4:15pm. After School Club runs from 3:15pm to 6:00pm."
From the headteacher's welcome: "West Pennard Church of England Primary School is a 7 class school set in beautiful grounds nestled between the Somerset countryside, Glastonbury Tor and St Nicholas’ Church. Despite being in existence since 1843, we are a forward thinking school with forward thinking staff and governors."

This school excels at creating a happy, supportive environment where children develop strong values of respect, compassion and kindness. Pupils receive excellent support for reading from the very beginning, and the school provides exceptional enrichment activities including residential trips and varied clubs that develop resilience and leadership skills.
