Areas for Improvement

  • Reading, writing and mathematics outcomes are below national standards, with too many pupils having gaps in handwriting, spelling and grammar
  • Disadvantaged pupils, especially older ones, are not catching up quickly enough
  • Attendance rates for disadvantaged pupils remain high despite improvement efforts
  • Teaching does not help pupils with writing gaps catch up fast enough
  • Support for pupils with special needs is too general rather than tailored to individual needs

Extracurricular Activities

Film making, handball, ukulele, cultural activities

Two Moors Primary School is a friendly school where pupils feel valued and safe, with strong personal development opportunities. However, achievement in reading, writing and mathematics is below national standards, particularly for older and disadvantaged pupils.
