In its own words: "Our proprietor, Carmen Roche, established the school in 1983 with the intention of providing “a thorough education in a homely environment” and we have stayed true to that clear and honest ethos for over 40 years. The homely feel of our school is one of the first things visitors remark upon when they come to our school."

The Roche School excels at creating a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment where pupils thrive academically and develop strong character. Teaching in the upper years is particularly strong, with pupils making excellent progress in core subjects and developing sophisticated thinking skills. The school does an outstanding job promoting pupils' personal development through community involvement, celebrating different faiths, and providing a rich curriculum in art, music, sports and technology.
