The Maynard School in its own words
In its own words: "Our school’s ethos is one of genuine collaboration, respect, and belief in every student’s potential. It is a place where young women listen to and support one another, where they are empowered to succeed, and where teachers see and value them for who they truly are."
From the headteacher's welcome: "Steeped in a rich history dating back to 1658, The Maynard today is so much more than a top academic school. Over the years we have built an outstanding reputation for excellence in the Arts, Music and Sport whilst our pastoral care is widely regarded as second to none."
The school runs after-school care until 5:30pm.
Coming up: an open day on Monday 9 November 2026 and an open day on Thursday 12 November 2026. Check the school's website before you go, as dates can change.
