- Attendance is consistently above national averages due to leaders' careful monitoring and tailored support for families
- Strong pastoral care and personal development programme - pupils feel known, valued and cared for
- Warm, respectful relationships between staff and pupils with rare suspensions and low bullying
- Parents hold the school in very high regard and appreciate the care and education their children receive
Areas for Improvement
- Teaching is inconsistent across the school and does not always match learning to what pupils already know
- Too many pupils, especially disadvantaged pupils and those with SEND, have knowledge gaps that are not addressed quickly enough
- Phonics teaching is not consistent, affecting pupils' reading fluency and confidence
- Early years provision has not yet secured improvements in communication, language and early reading
