St Swithuns in detail
St Swithuns in its own words
In its own words: "St Swithun's Nursery and Preschool offer a warm, inspiring and high-quality early years environment where young children are given the very best start to their educational journey. Caring for children from 9 months to 4 years, our setting provides a calm and happy foundation where children feel safe, confident, and ready to learn."
From the headteacher's welcome: "We encourage our students to 'feel the fear and do it anyway' in taking part in the fire walk and to feel a real sense of belonging as they watch and cheer our staff in the Masked Singer. Above our front door are the words caritas, humilitas and sinceritas, qualities associated with Saint Swithun himself."
Clubs and activities named on the school's website include coding and journalism.
Coming up: an open day on Friday 13 November 2026 and an admissions event on Saturday 15 May 2027. Check the school's website before you go, as dates can change.
