St Peter's is a welcoming, inclusive school where pupils are incredibly happy and keen learners. The school excels at teaching reading and mathematics with pupils achieving highly, and provides exceptional support for pupils with additional needs. Pupils develop strong leadership skills and learn important values about equality, respect and how to keep themselves safe.

- Early reading and mathematics are taught very well with pupils achieving highly and becoming fluent readers and confident mathematicians
- Pupils have excellent behaviour, are polite and respectful, with strong leadership opportunities through ambassador roles
- Provision for pupils with SEND is well-considered, ensuring individual needs are met and pupils learn alongside their peers
- School prepares pupils very well for life beyond school through teaching about equality, different faiths, healthy relationships and citizenship
- Staff benefit from wide professional development and leaders have an accurate view of the school with clear improvement plans
