St Mary's is a welcoming, family-like community where pupils from diverse backgrounds get on well together and feel safe. Teaching is consistently good, helping pupils make solid progress from their starting points to achieve above average attainment by Year 6. The school has strong leadership with ambitious plans for improvement and excellent support for disadvantaged pupils and English language learners.
