St Kentigern's is a happy, nurturing school where pupils thrive academically and emotionally. Staff teach reading exceptionally well, ensuring all pupils become confident readers. The school is ambitious for every child's success and provides excellent support for those who need extra help, including children with additional needs.

  • Effective phonics teaching with strong support for struggling readers to catch up quickly
  • Ambitious, well-ordered curriculum with staff skilled at teaching content in clear and imaginative ways

  • Early identification and support for pupils with SEND to learn alongside peers

Areas for Improvement
