St George's is a welcoming, caring school where children feel safe and supported. The school excels at teaching the fundamentals of reading and maths through consistent, expert instruction, helping pupils achieve well despite many joining with lower starting points. Staff are deeply committed to supporting every child's needs, from developing communication skills in Reception through to specialised support for pupils with complex learning needs.

- Pupils are not always able to link ideas together and deepen their understanding of concepts in some subjects
