St Augustine's is a warm, welcoming community where children from many different backgrounds thrive together. Teaching has improved significantly and pupils make good progress overall, with particularly strong results in mathematics. The school works closely with families and has very high attendance as a result of this strong partnership.

- Writing and reading standards need to improve to match mathematics performance

- More visual and practical activities are needed to prepare pupils for writing across the school
