Shortlanesend School has made impressive improvements in teaching, particularly in reading and mathematics where pupils are achieving well. The school creates a warm, supportive environment where children behave respectfully and have genuine leadership opportunities through pupil councils. Staff provide strong support for children's wellbeing and mental health, helping every child feel valued and included.
