From the headteacher's welcome: "Sandford is a small village school situated in a beautiful rural setting at the foot of the Mendip hills and has served this close-knit community for over two hundred years. We have around 150 pupils arranged in five classes who are supported by a dedicated, experienced, highly skilled team of teachers and enthusiastic support staff."

The school runs a breakfast club from 7:30am and after-school care.
