- Curriculum and assessment systems are at very early stages of implementation, so pupils cannot yet recall longer-term learning as well as they should
- No systematic approach to developing handwriting skills for pupils who struggle with this
- Support for pupils with SEND and EHC plans does not consistently enable them to achieve as highly as they should in their learning
- Staff do not routinely receive information about additional needs that would help them support pupils fully in their learning
