Ofsted's report card from its 10 March 2026 inspection grades Oxted School on 7 areas: 1 strong standard and 6 expected standard. Report cards replaced single-word judgements in November 2025, on a five-point scale from exceptional to urgent improvement.

Attendance and behaviour - Expected standard. "Leaders have prioritised attendance and the behaviour of pupils in the school."

Curriculum and teaching - Expected standard. "The school's curriculum is broad and ambitious for pupils."

Inclusion - Expected standard. "Pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), those who are disadvantaged and those known to children's social care are well supported and cared for."

Personal development and wellbeing - Expected standard. "The school has a comprehensive, well-planned personal, social, health and economic curriculum."

Post 16 provision - Expected standard. "There is a broad, inclusive vocational and academic curriculum offer at post-16."

Safeguarding standards were met.

Ofsted's next steps for the school: "Leaders should strengthen the systems for monitoring the support provided to disadvantaged pupils to ensure barriers are consistently removed and these pupils achieve well across the curriculum"; "Leaders should continue to implement their strategy to reduce any ongoing barriers to pupils' attendance so that the number of pupils who attend school regularly increases".

In 2026, pupils at Oxted School averaged an Attainment 8 score of 43.6, the average grade across their best eight GCSEs. The average state school scored 50.8 in Surrey and 47 across England.

40% passed English and maths at grade 5 or above, against 54% in Surrey and 47% in England.
