- Ambitious, carefully sequenced curriculum with strong teaching in English and mathematics - pupils build knowledge step by step
- Reading is central to learning, with pupils reading a wide range of literature and receiving targeted support if they fall behind
- Positive behaviour and respectful relationships throughout the school - pupils listen well and treat each other with respect
- Strong personal development support including online safety education and preparation for secondary school
