  • Excellent support for pupils who join at unusual times, including those learning English as an additional language
  • High expectations for behaviour and learning, with calm and purposeful lessons
  • Well-developed character education including faith learning and work experience opportunities
  • Strong staff morale with unified commitment to helping pupils achieve their potential

Areas for Improvement

  • Assessment methods in some foundation subjects need strengthening so pupils can identify and fill knowledge gaps
  • Some pupils struggle to connect new learning with bigger curriculum ideas in subjects where the school is still refining assessment approaches

Safeguarding

Safeguarding arrangements are effective with leaders creating an open culture that puts pupils' interests first.

Extracurricular Activities

Worship leader roles, school councillor roles, fundraising events for charities, kitchen garden work at local historic site
