Pupils excitedly recall educational visits, which enable them to take their learning beyond the classroom. Older pupils speak fondly about their residential trip and recall how they had to be brave to try new things. Mini topic activities provide opportunities for older pupils and children in the early years to work together to develop their problem-solving skills. Technology weeks help pupils to develop their practical skills and apply computing knowledge to different contexts. Pupils make a range of exciting creations, such as working lighthouses and soft toys.
