Achievement - Needs attention. "Over time pupils, including those who are disadvantaged, have not achieved as well as other pupils nationally."

Curriculum and teaching - Needs attention. "Inconsistencies in how well the curriculum is taught means that some pupils find it difficult to retrieve essential knowledge."

Safeguarding standards were met.

In 2025, 58% of Year 6 pupils at New Bewerley Community School reached the expected standard in reading and 56% in maths. At the average state primary the figures were 77% and 76% in Leeds and 77% and 75% across England.
