This is a warm, welcoming school where children flourish both academically and personally. Reading is taught expertly and pupils progress rapidly, while children with additional needs receive strong support. The whole school community, from pupils to staff, embraces the school's values and creates an exceptionally positive, inclusive environment where everyone feels cared for and encouraged to succeed.

- Expert teaching of phonics and reading - pupils learn to read very well with rapid support for those falling behind
- Outstanding pupil behaviour and attitudes - classrooms are calm and purposeful with pupils who are motivated and enthusiastic learners
