Early years - Expected standard. "The early years is a warm and inviting place where children typically immerse themselves in well-considered learning experiences."

Leadership and governance - Expected standard. "Leaders have an incisive understanding of the school's context."

Achievement - Needs attention. "Disadvantaged pupils do not achieve as well as they should."

Safeguarding standards were met.

Ofsted's next steps for the school: "• Leaders should ensure that teachers use assessment information and their detailed knowledge of disadvantaged pupils effectively to adapt the curriculum and teaching more precisely and address gaps quickly so that these pupils achieve highly. • Leaders should ensure that staff in the early years maximise the opportunities for engaging children in high-quality interactions by consistently and proactively seeking out disadvantaged children and those who engage less readily so that these children learn as well as they should. • Leaders should take a more robust and strategic approach to using information about attendance to secure improvements, so that pupils achieve higher levels of attendance".

From the headteacher's welcome: "Manor Park Infant School and Nursery is a small, friendly community school for children aged 3-7 years with much happening! We have five full time infant classes and a fifty place nursery and the school is currently expanding to meet the needs of the local community."

The school runs a breakfast club from 6:75am and after-school care.

For September 2026 entry, 37 families put Manor Park Infant and Nursery School as their first choice and 78 named it as one of their preferences, for 39 places offered. It had fewer first-choice applications than places. Every family who put it first was offered a place there for 2026 entry.
