In its own words: "Madley Brook Primary School is a values-based school. Values-based education is an approach to teaching that works with values. It creates a strong learning environment that enhances academic attainment, and develops students' social and relationship skills that last throughout their lives."

From the headteacher's welcome: "Our school opened in September 2003 to provide mainstream education for pupils on the Madley Park estate. We can accommodate 210 pupils and also have a nursery, with 24 full time places. Our aim is to value each pupil. To provide learning opportunities that will develop the whole child."

The school runs a breakfast club from 7:30am and after-school care.
