King's Bruton in detail

King's Bruton in its own words

In its own words: "At King's Bruton, our values shape every aspect of school life. They influence how we learn, how we lead, how we support one another and the kind of people we aspire to become."

From the headteacher's welcome: "Joining the Sixth Form at King's Bruton marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter. More than simply the final stage of school, it is the point at which pupils begin to shape what comes next."

Clubs and activities named on the school's website include yoga, drama, chess, coding, cooking, debating, Duke of Edinburgh and cadets.

Coming up: an open evening on Friday 13 November 2026. Check the school's website before you go, as dates can change.

The Department for Education's GCSE measures do not count IGCSEs, which many independent schools take instead of GCSEs, so the Attainment 8 and English and maths figures it publishes for King's Bruton can understate its results. We do not rank or compare them; ask the school for its own GCSE and IGCSE results.
