- Excellent behaviour and attitudes - pupils know expectations, concentrate hard and behave well in lessons
- Inclusive approach - pupils with SEND are well supported and make good progress with adapted teaching
- Happy, caring community where pupils look after each other and celebrate their differences
- Good early years provision where children make rapid progress with communication and language skills
Areas for Improvement
- Reading and maths results at the end of Year 6 remain weak despite improvements - more work needed
- Year 1 phonics results well below national average for two years - new phonics programme recently started to improve this
- Many pupils miss school due to extended leave abroad which damages their learning
- Teachers need more training in modern foreign languages to deliver this subject confidently

Safeguarding is effective - staff are well trained, appropriate checks are carried out on new staff, and pupils learn how to keep themselves safe including online safety.
