Staff and pupils were actively involved in the designing of the school and developing the outside space to maximise learning opportunities. Hinguar Primary School is located on the edge of the Garrison and walking distance to East Beach."

From the headteacher's welcome: "Welcome to Hinguar Primary School and Nursery. We are a one-form entry primary school in Shoeburyness, catering for children from 2 to 11 years old. Our school has a friendly and inclusive environment; dedicated staff work in partnership with parents and carers to support all our children to achieve their potential."
