Heathmere has a strong headteacher who has transformed the school's culture with high expectations and excellent teamwork. Teachers build great relationships with pupils and mark their work consistently well to help them improve. The school does an outstanding job supporting disadvantaged pupils and celebrates the diverse backgrounds of all children through festivals, assemblies and activities that prepare them for modern Britain.
