Griffin Primary School has brought in new leadership that is driving real improvements in how subjects are taught. The reading programme is particularly strong, with a focus on phonics and structured learning. The school is working hard to make sure knowledge builds properly from year to year, and has good support from its academy trust to help teachers do this effectively.
