Falkland Primary School creates a family-like atmosphere where children feel safe and respected. The school excels at teaching reading from reception onwards and provides excellent support for children who need extra help. Your child will benefit from a well-organized curriculum, high behavioural expectations, and enriching trips and activities linked to their learning.

Key Strengths

  • Strong focus on reading with all staff trained in phonics; pupils read daily and receive targeted interventions
  • Well-sequenced curriculum across all subjects from early years through Year 6
  • Excellent support for pupils with SEND and those struggling emotionally with regular plan reviews
  • Strong behaviour expectations with high attendance and skilled pastoral support
  • Early years provision helps children develop communication and problem-solving skills
