In its own words: "Welcome to Ernulf Academy, an 11-16 secondary school in St.Neots located in North Cambridgeshire. The academy is part of Astrea Academy Trust, a highly successful multi-academy trust of primary and secondary academies in Cambridgeshire and South Yorkshire."

In 2026, pupils at Ernulf Academy averaged an Attainment 8 score of 43.4, the average grade across their best eight GCSEs. The average state school scored 50.3 in Cambridgeshire and 47 across England.

For September 2026 entry, 123 families put Ernulf Academy as their first choice and 206 named it as one of their preferences, for 145 places offered. It had fewer first-choice applications than places. Every family who put it first was offered a place there for 2026 entry.

311 parents answered Ofsted's Parent View survey about Ernulf Academy (as of September 2025): 45% would recommend the school, 55% say their child is happy there and 50% of those with a view say bullying is dealt with well.

The strongest agreement was that their child feels safe (66%); the weakest, that they would recommend the school (45%).

Of the 144 pupils who finished Year 11 in 2023/24, 79% stayed in education or training for at least two terms, including 56% to a further education college, 5% to an apprenticeship and 1% into work.

7.4% speak English as an additional language, against 18.8% on average, according to the 2026 school census.
