Ofsted's report card from its 30 June 2026 inspection grades Downe Primary School on 7 areas: 7 strong standard. Report cards replaced single-word judgements in November 2025, on a five-point scale from exceptional to urgent improvement.

Leadership and governance - Strong standard. "Leaders and trustees maintain a strong and proactive focus on inclusion, addressing barriers to learning, attendance and participation with determination."

Personal development and wellbeing - Strong standard. "Personal development and wellbeing are excellent and deeply embedded across the school's work."

Safeguarding standards were met.
