What This School Does Well
Doucecroft School has made impressive progress in improving how lessons are taught, with teachers now using much better strategies to help pupils learn. Reading is now a daily part of school life with books matched to each child's age and reading level. The school also does excellent work preparing older pupils for adult life through college visits and independent travel training, with around half of pupils successfully moving to college or training placements.
