In its own words: "Danson Primary originally started life as Little Danson, comprising a few wooden buildings, in the early 1930s. Our school name originates from the famous Danson House, dating from the late 18th century as the school stands on land which once formed part of its estate. Our current school opened in 1933 and became a two-form entry school in 1952."
