Achievement - Needs attention. "Despite pupils achieving broadly in line with national outcomes at the end of key stage 2, some older pupils in school do not secure basic skills in handwriting and mathematics."

Curriculum and teaching - Needs attention. "The delivery of the curriculum needs further improvement."

Inclusion - Needs attention. "Work is taking place to strengthen the school's systems for identifying and supporting the needs of vulnerable pupils."

Safeguarding standards were met.

From the headteacher's welcome: "Welcome to Cooper Perry, proud to be part of the local community since 1874. Cooper Perry is a 3-11 village primary school nestled amidst extensive grounds, serving a rural community situated three miles to the north-west of the county town of Stafford."

The school runs a breakfast club from 7:30am and after-school care, from £5 per session.
