Key Strengths
- Attendance is above national average for all groups of pupils, including disadvantaged pupils and those with SEND
- Strong behaviour and a calm, purposeful learning environment where bullying is dealt with swiftly
- Excellent personal development curriculum with wide-ranging enrichment activities including trips, robotics clubs, and international visits to Germany and Belgium
- Effective careers guidance with all pupils progressing to suitable education, employment or training
- Pupils feel safe with an open safeguarding culture
Areas for Improvement
- Teachers do not check pupils' learning effectively across the curriculum - this is only effective in some subjects
- Staff do not consistently identify and close gaps in knowledge and misunderstandings quickly enough
