In its own words: "Brough School was established in 1875, and serves a large area from Stainmore to Musgrave. The school has four main classroom areas, library and a large hall, plus additional teaching areas where groups or individual pupils can work. All classrooms utilise interactive whiteboards and children work 1-1 with Chromebooks and Chrome tablets, to enable digital literacy."

The school runs a breakfast club from 8:00am and after-school care.
