- Exceptional inclusion and support for pupils with special educational needs - staff adapt teaching highly effectively and specialist provisions ('The Hive' and 'Hub') provide personalised support
- Strong personal development curriculum that builds confident, compassionate young people with access to wide-ranging enrichment including sports, environmental, creative activities and robotics
- Highly positive behaviour and strong pastoral care - pupils conduct themselves respectfully, bullying is rare, and staff deliver whole-family support for vulnerable pupils
- Effective phonics teaching and strong foundations in reading and mathematics
- Inclusive culture where pupils feel they belong - disadvantaged pupils participate widely and achieve well over time

- Attendance remains inconsistent for some pupils despite supportive work with families - leaders need to identify more effective strategies to remove barriers to high attendance
- Teaching consistency across subjects could be stronger - occasionally teachers don't identify misconceptions or recognise when pupils are ready for more complex learning
- Early years language development could be enhanced - adults sometimes miss opportunities to extend vocabulary and deepen talk during play-based learning
- Reading improvements in key stage 2 need to be sustained as the new approach is being refined
