Aspire Academy in detail

Aspire Academy in its own words

In its own words: "We Aspire to be a community founded upon mutual trust where everyone is loved for who they are. We seek to care about others by putting their needs before our own and believe that by working together we can create a better community for all whilst developing personal strength. We aim to be an inclusive community ."

From the headteacher's welcome: "We are an Alternative Provision Academy, proudly serving young people across Hull and the East Riding, with our main site based in East Hull. Many of our students arrive with us carrying a difficult history with education - perhaps they’ve been excluded from mainstream school, or mainstream school simply wasn’t the right fit for who they are."

Clubs and activities named on the school's website include swimming, cooking, art, film and book club.
