In its own words: "The Junior Leadership Team, together with the whole school community, reviewed the school ethos, aims and values at the beginning of September 2022. They created 26 affirmations known as the A-Z of Appleton Roebuck. These affirmations define how we treat ourselves and each other."

This is a warm, welcoming school where children feel safe and supported by caring adults. The school excels at personal development, teaching pupils about British values, different faiths, online safety, and how they can make a positive difference in their community. Reading is taught very well using phonics, and pupils quickly catch up if they need extra support.
