What This School Does Well
The school has made significant improvements to teaching this year and pupils are now making faster progress. Teachers create engaging learning experiences that capture pupils' interest, particularly in writing. The school does an excellent job supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, identifying their needs early and enabling them to fully participate in lessons.

- Pupil premium funding is not benefiting enough pupils, especially younger ones, so disadvantaged pupils are not catching up
- Inconsistent behaviour management between staff is confusing parents about school expectations
- Subject leaders are not involved enough in checking teaching quality in their areas
