What Ofsted found in each area
Leadership and governance: Expected standard
Leaders have a clear and strategic overview of their provision at this school site. They deliver sports club sessions, where children learn new skills and healthy habits, enjoying the exercise and movement.
Leaders ensure that all staff are suitable and they have clear and robust safer recruitment practices. All staff complete mandatory training that covers safeguarding and follow procedures to keep children safe. Leaders have implemented a new register, for example, which ensures the wraparound manager accesses specific information about each child. This ensures that all allergies are clear, that staff know if a new child has joined or if there are any medical needs. Leaders track attendance and first-aid patterns to ensure children are safe. This means risk assessments can be reviewed.
Supervisions are extremely robust. Staff are supported well and praised for their efforts. This fosters an environment where staff can ask for help and wellbeing is supported. Training is specific and tailored to each setting and needs of the staff. For example, staff have strategies to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. This means all children can succeed and access all they have to offer.
Leaders gather accurate information and make plans for each session. For example, leaders plan specifically for early years children when they attend. Leaders visit settings and ask staff to consider if their provision meets the needs of the youngest children. This ensures that children who are new to the school can settle. Leaders provide children with individualised regulation plans. This ensures their time at the setting is a success. Staff review these with senior leaders and parents. Leaders hold regular team meetings and offer bite-sized training, following reviews and inspections.
Leaders have accessed funding at this provision to promote attendance. They have delivered assemblies at the school and sought parental feedback to improve what they offer.

Ofsted report cards (England, from November 2025)
Since 10 November 2025 Ofsted has graded nurseries and pre-schools on a report card. There is no single overall grade. Instead, each of six areas gets one of five grades: Exceptional, Strong standard, Expected standard, Needs attention, Urgent improvement.
The six areas are inclusion; curriculum and teaching; achievement; behaviour, attitudes and establishing routines; children's welfare and wellbeing; leadership and governance. Safeguarding is judged on its own, as met or not met.
Expected standard means the setting does what Ofsted expects of every setting. Strong standard and Exceptional are above that; Needs attention and Urgent improvement mean Ofsted found things the setting has to put right.
